Slurry

Privacy policy

Slurry does not collect, send or share any of your personal data. The game runs entirely on your device.

Who this covers

This policy covers the Slurry mobile game for Android and iOS, and this website, slurry.rocks. Slurry is made by David Adams, who is responsible for your data under this policy. You can reach the developer at support@slurry.rocks.

Data the game collects

None. Slurry has:

What is stored on your device

The game keeps a small save file in its own private storage so it can remember your progress. The game never sends this file anywhere, and the developer cannot see it.

StoredWhy
Best scores and statisticsShown on the results and stats pages
Flags, collections and sightingsKeeps what you have earned between games
Whether you have bought the unlockLets the full game work offline
Lessons seen, difficulty, game rules, sound and music settingsKeeps your preferences

The game also reads your device's date and time, on the device only, for features that depend on the time.

On Android the save file is excluded from app backups. On iPhone, your own iCloud or computer backup may include it, under your Apple account and Apple's terms.

Deleting your data

Uninstall Slurry and your save file is deleted from your device. The developer holds no copy. Slurry has no accounts, so there is no account to delete.

App stores

You download Slurry through Google Play or the App Store. Google and Apple handle their own data about your download and any payment under their own privacy policies. They may give the developer aggregated download figures, which do not identify you.

In-app purchase

Slurry offers one optional purchase to unlock the full game. Google Play or Apple handles the whole payment, including your card details and account, under their own privacy policies. The game only asks the store whether this account owns the unlock. We never see your payment details and we receive no personal data with the purchase.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party fonts. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, under its privacy policy.

If you arrive from an advert, any campaign tags in the link are passed on to the store when you tap through to it. They are not stored here.

If you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping players, and we delete it once it is no longer needed for that. We never sell it or share it for marketing.

Children

Slurry collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority. As the game holds nothing about you, these will usually apply only to emails you have sent us. Contact us to use them.

Changes to this policy

If Slurry ever starts handling data differently, this page will change before the app does, and the date at the top will be updated.
